Sea-Today, LLCmanufactures a multi-component microbial product that can reduce organic wastewater solids. What’s novel about our product is that it consists of different species, that in nature don’t coexist, they in many cases compete. It’s our acclimation process that gets these different species to collaborate to survive.
This strategy allows them to consume a wider variety of carbon chains and Nitrogen compounds to produce CO2, N2 and water. The product also has a strategy to eliminate competitive species. Contaminate species are greatly reduced or eliminated which means that pathogens are targeted by the product which greatly reduces their count as well as odor producing species.
Waste water treatment has been demonstrated on oxidation ponds, evaporation ponds and activated sludge sewage treatment facilities as well as stock ponds and paper mill ponds. We have demonstrated a 2.5 times increase in sludge consumption as well as reduction in the total nitrogen. We achieved a 99.9% reduction in coliforms in a Concentrated Animal Waste pond and a 66% reduction in sludge levels in an oxidation pond. We have reduced electrical consumption by over 50%. Our lab scale testing of a sites particular waste sludge is a good indicator of the results that will be seen once the treatment regimen is implemented at the site. Sites will benefit from a reduction in maintenance costs of the facility including solids reduction, transportation, and tipping fees, reduction in electrical costs, as well as improvements in water chemistry. Each treatment site is different and we collaborate with your personnel to maximize the cost savings to your budget. If we can’t find the path to save you more than our cost, then we walk away. So, there is only saving you money and improving site performance. We typically cost between 30% and 70% of what we save the site.
